A UK Habitat Classification (UKHab) Survey was carried out in accordance with the user manual (UKHab Ltd, 2023). UKHab is a hierarchical system for rapidly recording and classifying habitat via satellite imagery and field survey. For the purpose of this study the primary habitat on site were categorised to level 4, along with non-hierarchical secondary codes which provide information on the environment, management and origin of primary habitats. The secondary codes are also used (when applicable) to map habitat mosaics and identify notable species features.
The habitat data was collected both in person via field survey and via ESRI and Bing Maps, satellite images
