Regional Parks
Regional Parks are extensive areas of land, parts of which are devoted to the recreational needs of the public. The function of a Regional Park is to provide an opportunity for the co-ordinated management of recreational provision alongside, and in close collaboration with, the management of other land uses throughout the Park. Regional parks are managed by local authorities, with support from NatureScot (Scottish Natural Heritage).
