Statement

This dataset is derived from aggregating the Agricultural Parish boundaries dataset. Area Office boundaries originally came into force on 17/02/2003 when 18 area offices were made into 16 due to the closure of the Stirling and Dundee offices. Other office boundaries that were affected were Gala, Hamilton and Perth. Updates to the dataset include:


Effective 2010-06-01:

• Renaming of Lairg office to Golspie.


Effective 2016-11-16:

• Revised boundaries following an improvement to the Agricultural Parish dataset.
