This feature class contains habitat point records that have been iteratively added on and since the initial creation of the dataset. Records are sourced from multiple data owners, and provided for addition to the dataset by either NatureScot or Joint Nature Conservation Committee. Intellectual Property Ownership of individual records is varied. Records were originally collected for a variety of purposes and record collection was done through a variety of methodologies. No records were originally collected with the specific purpose of inclusion within this collation; the dataset accepts records relevant to Priority Marine Features, MPA Search Features and Annex I habitat records. Records have had a standardised data structure applied, and as such may not include all the attributes available within their original source.
