Polling Districts - Dundee
A Polling District is a geographical area created by the sub-division of a a UK Parliamentary Constituency for the purposes of a UK Parliamentary Election. Local Authorities create polling districts by virtue of Section 18A of The Representation of the People Act 1983. They are reviewed every 5 years (Section 18C and Schedule A1 refers).
All electors within a polling district vote at the same polling place.

Polling districts were reviewed during 2013 and adopted for use from the 13th January 2014.
Boundaries are generated by subdiving the City Council area and wards with internal subdivisions following physical features, for example streets.
